Update On Allison Mack's Contract Status For Smallville Season 10

Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello has posted some scoop about the contract status of Allison Mack (Chloe) for Smallville Season 10.

Executive Producer Brian Peterson has told Ausiello that he is "very optimistic" that Chloe will be back for Season 10.

Ausiello is hearing it's "essentially a done deal," but Peterson is not yet confirming it as finalized.

"We’ve learned the hard way not to say [it's official] until everything is signed and dotted. So the best we can say is we’re really optimistic. And so is Allison," Peterson said.

Guess this means the "Chloe's gonna die in the finale" talk can stop now...
