So of course we'll want to know what happens next, right?

Thankfully we have some comic books to tell us where the story is going, but as far as a way to go, you can't really top that.

892 people, or nearly 26%, picked Clark on the roof opening his shirt to reveal the "S" - also known as The Last Scene Of Smallville Ever - as the Best Cliffhanger in the history of the show.

This scene had some heavy competition from the Season 3 cliffhanger montage, where Chloe blows up, a field is burning, Lex is poisoned, and Clark is naked somewhere. That had 819 votes for #2.

The third most memorable cliffhanger came with the end of "Salvation," as Zod has stabbed Clark and he falls to his "death." Fortunately, Clark made it, or else we might not have had a Season 10.

Like Smallville itself, all good things must come to an end, and that is the end of our results for the 2012 KryptonSite Awards. It's not the end for the site, or for the Awards, though!

Pretty soon some writers will be gathering for a recurring KryptonSite feature looking back on the show, so stay tuned for that, but also... we still have a Season 11 comic book series to talk about, so chances are good that we'll be doing Awards again in 2013 to honor the best and worst of the comic.
