justice societyGeoff Johns Teases "Society"

An as-yet-unscheduled episode of Smallville Season Nine, titled "Society," was announced at the Comic-Con International in San Diego last month. The episode features the legendary Justice Society of America and brings back writer Geoff Johns ("Legion") who has quite a bit of experience with the characters in the comics.

Johns and the producers have remained fairly tight-lipped about the content of the episode and which characters will be appearing. However, KryptonSite was able to catch up with Mr. Johns for a brief quote:

"The Justice Society will be heroes that come out of 'retirement' to see how the current generation operates. Can't say much more than that right now. Sorry! :)"

Hopefully more information about "Society" will be coming soon.

The ninth season of Smallville premieres Friday, September 25 on The CW.
