 Interview: Lindsay Hartley Talks About Playing The Mad "Harriet" On This Week's Smallville

There was one interview that we had saved from September's Smallville 200th Episode Red Carpet, and that was our talk with Lindsay Hartley, who will be appearing in this week's episode, "Abandoned," as the claw-wielding Harriet.
The popular soap actress, who happens to be married to Justin Hartley, teased a little bit about what to expect from her character and the episode.

What can you tell us about Harriet?
She has a claw that is located on her right hand, and it's razor sharp, and her claws are powered by Kryptonite - that's how she gets her strength. She is one of Granny Goodness' minions, if you will. She's the leader of the bunch, and if she feels threatened, she's going to go ahead and attack to kill. She does come into contact with Tess Mercer, and she does come into contact with Clark Kent. Kryptonite's around, and you know what happens to poor Clark when he's around Kryptonite.
Did Justin give you any pointers about the show before you came on?
There were general things. It was mostly just the support, I think. Just being my husband and saying "Go for it, and just do your thing." I've also seen many filmings of the show, and I've gotten to know a lot of the cast members and the crew, so it's been nice to on this side of things; to get to join the party.
Is there any chance that Harriet could become a recurring character on the show?
I don't know. Let's keep our fingers crossed. I'm grateful to be a part of this show, which has been going on for ten years. I'm also grateful to be a part of this 200th episode day. This is incredible. It's because of the fans that this has happened.
Is it true that you have no scenes with your husband?
He's not in this episode. It would be great to see Green Arrow shooting some bow and arrows into the claws, you know what I mean? [laughs]
