Three
Pages Of Smallville In New TV Guide
The
January 23 issue of the new, bigger TV Guide magazine has
begun hitting subscriber mailboxes in the U.S. and will be available
on newsstands on Thursday. The issue has a feature on the 100th
episode and a "Smallville A to Z" guide obviously
written by someone who clearly knows the show.
Here
are some highlights:
-
"A major character is going to die," executive producer
and co-creator Alfred Gough told TV Guide. "Someone
you see in the opening credits every week is going to bite the
dust." He also tells TV Guide that another "major"
player is on the way out too. "You actually see two deaths
in the episode."
- Gough reveals in this interview that we may finally be seeing
Jor-El at the start of Season 6. (Guess that could mean there
surely will be a Season 6!)
- TV Guide speculates that the death could be either Martha,
Jonathan, or "fan favorite" Chloe.
- The "Smallville A to Z" section has tidbits
about 26 different things from Smallville lore. The Nellie
Bly connection is mentioned, as are things like Bridgette Crosby,
Ian Somerhalder, doomed doctors, "muffin peddling college
dropouts," and Pete Ross's special name for Lex Luthor.
Don't
forget to seek out your copy at newsstands later this week!
