The news that Buffy the Vampire Slayer's one-time "Spike," James Marsters, would be joining the show was a welcome one to fans of Smallville and fans of good genre TV alike.

Sadly, Brainiac may not have appeared on the show as much as we may have liked, but when James Marsters was on the screen, people were very happy.

It's no surprise, then, that 66% of the 7,637 people who voted for Best Guest Star all rallied behind James Marsters.

Coming in at a VERY distant second, with 11%, was Lee Thompson Young, who played the future Teen Titan Cyborg in "Cyborg."
