The episode was "Legion," featuring three heroes from the future who are well aware of Clark's destiny - returned to present day to stop a modern threat.
Great writing was helped by great casting and direction to make what was not only one of the best episodes of Season 8, but of the series as a whole. A return appearance by the Legion is something that will hopefully come before the show reaches its conclusion.
"Legion"'s first-place landing got 26% of the vote. Coming in second place, with 1,060 votes, was Season 8's midseason finale, "Bride." Third place (15%) went to "Committed."
