"Perry"
Music!
Here's a list of the music
heard in "Perry..."
"I
Love This Bar" by Toby Keith -
Played at the beginning of the episode where Perry's getting
drinks in "Littleville." Toby Keith's appearance
on 60 Minutes II the same night as "Perry"
beat all of the competition. *Growl*
"Blue"
by LeAnn Rimes - Played during the scene
with Clark and Perry in the Wild Coyote
"Walkin'
In Memphis" by Lonestar - Played
at the very end of the episode, when Clark says goodbye
to Perry at the bus stop. What Memphis has to do with
Smallville, we may never know. (Many have e-mailed us
and pointed out that the Perry White of Lois &
Clark was a big Elvis fan, and that may be the reason
for the song. A bit of a stretch, but maybe...)
Thanks
to Derek, Patty, Jackie, Methos, Ed, Krister2, Angelus,
Bruce for letting us know where the songs appeared!

Verheiden Talks About "Perry"
KryptonSite is happy to present
an interview with writer Mark Verheiden about the
November 5 episode of Smallville, which will bring
an important part of the Superman mythos into Smallville

element may return, his favorite character, the previously-unrevealed
title of his next episode, and more. And of course, be

Kryptonite Bullets Can't Stop "Extinction"
Despite HUGE numbers for the Cubs/Marlins
game on Fox last night, Smallville still did very
well in the overnight ratings race!
The
show's genre competition, UPN's Star Trek: Enterprise,
isn't faring too well -- this might be the first Trek
in a long time that didn't last for a 7-year mission.
Let's

Compares WB's New "Tarzan" to Smallville
Special
thanks to: Dee
and thanks to TarzanTheSeries.com
for Tarzan image
A
recent Chicago Sun-Times article by Phil Rosenthal compares
the WB's new beefcake Tarzan to the Smallville series,
and discusses why the show about young Clark Kent seems
to work so much better than Travis Fimmel, Uncle Skinner,
and crew.
The
article compares former model Fimmel to Tom Welling, and
says "Tom Welling, who gets to play the young man
of steel in that series, gets ample support from a cast
of solid pros. Fimmel gets little such boost." The
article goes on to say "Bring in an Annette O'Toole,
a John Schneider and a John Glover and maybe Fimmel's
Tarzan wouldn't seem so dreary and empty, all atmosphere
and no gas."

Special
thanks to: D.C.
Smallville's
impressive ratings for Season Three were mentioned in

Weekly, now on sale.
Here's
what they had to say: "Smallville (73rd) came
to the rescue of the WB's Wednesday lineup, opening it's
third season with 1.5 million more viewers than last season's
premier of former time-slot occupant Dawson's Creek and
soaring above UPN's competing Star Trek: Enterprise (92nd)."

Confirmed!
Special

of Attraction, Fearless) would be coming to Smallville
playing a young Bruce Wayne.
While
he's definitely not playing Bruce, IanSomerhalder.net
is reporting, and we have been able to confirm, that Ian
will be appearing on six episodes of Smallville
this season. His first episode will be shooting soon,
and you can find the title of that one on the KryptonSite

Jeph
Loeb Co-Creation Possibly Coming To UPN
Before joining the staff of Smallville, before
challenging the unknown and having dark victories for
all seasons, Jeph Loeb wrote or co-wrote some of
the 1980's most popular movies.
One
of those movies, "Teen Wolf" starring Michael
J. Fox, is in development to be a TV series produced by
Warner Bros. Television, to air on UPN. The pilot script
is being prepared by veteran TV director Terry Hughes
(Friends, Third Rock From the Sun) and writer Ron
Milbauer ("Idle Hands"). UPN hopes to turn it
into their new franchise by turning the movie into a series,
with hopeful success like the success that was had by
Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
We
asked Mr. Loeb if he's involved with the new series at
all. Here was his reply: "While I don't have anything
to do with the development of the series, the characters
and the franchise was created by myself and my then partner
Matthew Weisman with whom I also created and wrote 'Commando'.
'Teen Wolf' was the first movie I ever wrote professionally
and was astonished when it got made so easily. We had
a ball making the movie and Michael J. Fox couldn't have
been nicer if he tried. It is wonderful memory and I hope
the series catches the spirit of the movie."
If
you haven't seen "Teen Wolf" in a while, you
can catch it and its sequel on DVD at Amazon.com!

Corrected Music List!
Here's
a list of the music from "Exile." Special thanks
to everyone who sent in corrections, especially "Neo"
who got it all nicely organized:
"Girls
& Boys" by Good Charlotte - Played
when Clark steals from the ATM machines to buy his new
car. Good Charlotte is from Maryland - and for that, they
rock.
"Hey
Mama" by The Black Eyed Peas - Played
when Clark shows up at Atlantis (the nightclub) with the
woman that sold him the car.
"Calling
All Angels" by Train - Played just after
Clark flees the barn and while Lana and Chloe are discussing
Clark's whereabouts, right after Jonathan and Martha have
a scene together.
"Frantic"
by Metallica - Played when Clark takes over
the bank robbery from the Clown Robbers.
"Goodtalk" by Shocore
- Played when Clark brings Lana to Atlantis. Shocore's
"Bonecracker" was featured in the first season
episode "Leech."
"All
The Stars" by Eastmountainsouth - Played
when Lana tells Chloe she will not give up on finding
Clark.

Reminder!
Support Memory Walk 2003 - In Memory Of John Glover's
Father
Want to help a good cause and help out one of Smallville's
most popular actors? Point your browsers towards JackGlover.org
-- that's the home page for donations towards the Memory
Walk 2003 working to achieve an end to Alzheimer's disease.
John
Glover (Lionel Luthor) will be walking in the Jack
Glover Memory Walk this weekend in memory of his father,
who suffered from Alzheimer's Disease. Glover's goal is
to raise $5,000 for the event. Several generous donors
from K-Site have already gone by JackGlover.org
and made donations -- but Glover is still about $1,000
away from his final goal, which of course he would like
to achieve by the end of the week. So if you can spare
it, it's for a good cause, so go
over there already!
The
Greater Maryland Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association
is also now having auctions for unique Smallville
items, many of which will be signed. If you'd like to
bid, all you have to do is follow
this link.
