Michael Rosenbaum Meets Another Lex In SFX Magazine
The latest issue of SFX Magazine features some photos of Michael Rosenbaum (Lex) at SFX: The Event... including a shot of Michael with former Lois & Clark "Lex" John Shea!

The accompanying article reveals that Michael received an award from Mr. Shea for Best Newcomer.

Sam Jones III (Pete) also makes an appearance in the magazine, which is available in the United Kingdom now and should be available in the U.S. shortly.

Lex Parties... With Hair!

John Schneider Doing Radio Spots For Home Depot
Clark Kent may be hearing Jor-El's voice in his head this summer, but it's the voice of John Schneider, who plays Clark's father Jonathan Kent on Smallville, that you've likely been hearing on the radio.

Perhaps using his Smallville image to an advantage, John is now heard on some radio spots for the store. You can also see him on TV promoting Ortho fertilizers. (although we all use Luthor fertilizers, of course!)

Smallville: The Comic #4 Details and Cover!
DC Comics has released solicitation information for issue #4 of the Smallville comic, on sale September 17. Here's the description of the issue:

SMALLVILLE #4 - Written by Mark Verheiden and Clint Carpenter; art by Renato Guedes, Oclair Albert and Tom Derenick; cover by John Van Fleet

The conclusion of the story that finds Lex Luthor accused in the murder of an old friend! How will he clear his name and find out who set him up? "Hourglass" Guest In New Movie
Do you think that guy who is playing a younger version of Jim Carrey's Dumb and Dumber character in the movie's prequel, Dumb and Dumberer, looks familiar? That's because he was once a Freak of the Week!

Eric Christian Olsen, who stars in the new movie which opens this weekend, was "young Harry" in the first season Smallville episode "Hourglass." Eric has appeared in several movies since doing the episode, but this is by far the biggest to date.

Smallville on MTV Special

A clip from the episode "Heat" and mention of Smallville being "brilliant" is seen during a recent special on MTV spotlighting the new Hulk movie.

The special is due to re-air on Friday, June 13 at 8:30 PM and Sunday, June 15 at 5:00 PM, but check your local listings for exact times based on your time zone.

Former Buffy Writer Comes To Smallville
Drew Greenberg, a writer from the past two seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has left Sunnydale and joined the Smallville writing staff.

Greenberg's Buffy credits include the episodes "Smashed," "Older and Far Away," "Entropy," "Him," "The Killer in Me," and "Empty Places."

Timecop Returns To The Sci-Fi Channel
Timecop, a series executive-produced by Smallville writer Mark Verheiden which aired briefly in 1997 on ABC, will soon be airing in repeats on the Sci-Fi Channel.

The show will air Fridays at 7PM beginning July 11. Several early episodes guest star Tom O'Brien (Roger Nixon from Smallville Season 1), and some are written by Smallville executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. How can you go wrong there?

Superman #26 Among The "100 Greatest Heroes & Villains"
Superman made #26 on the list of the American Film Institute's "100 Greatest Heroes and Villains" on a CBS television special on Tuesday night, June 2.

Christopher Reeve, who played the movie Superman and also portrayed Dr. Virgil Swann in the Smallville episode "Rosetta," also appeared in the program.

Hartnett Turned Down The Superman Role... Four Times
Movie actor Josh Hartnett said in a recent Zap2it.com interview that he turned down the role of Superman for the upcoming movie not one, but four times.
