Screen Captures: Lucianna Caro On Smallville

We have two screen captures for you from her guest shot, which you can find by clicking here.

Visit the KryptonSite Spoilers Page and look under "Thirst" to find out more about this character! Thanks to Jacob for the screen captures. Hopefully no one will feel the need to copy the caps and post them onto another site.

Another "Thirst" Guest Star!
Brooke Nevin isn't the only actor from The 4400 that will be appearing in Season Five's fifrth episode, "Thirst."

Richard Kahan, who has had the recurring role of Marco on that USA Channel sci-fi series, will be playing a character named "Bittleman" in the episode. Kahan was also Kristin Kreuk's co-star on Edgemont for several years, where he played Gil.

Also recently solicited in Diamond PREVIEWS for release in two months is a JLA Classified cover featuring Superman himself. Click here for a preview!

Battlestar's "Kat" In Smallville
Battlestar Galactica's Luciana Carro is another actor who will be seen in the fifth episode of Smallville's fifth season, which is titled "Thirst."

She will be playing a character named Karen, although her IMDb entry lists the spelling as "Kayrin." Visit the KryptonSite Spoilers Page and look under "Thirst" to find out more about this character!

Luciana's other previous credits include episodes of The L Word and the never-aired-in-the-U.S. Still Life starring Jensen Ackles. She's actually appeared on Smallville before several years ago, as a Talon waitress in "Rush." Yay for Canadian actor recycling!

James Marsters Talks About Playing "Brainiac" On Smallville
E! Online's Watch With Kristin has posted an interview with actor James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) about his upcoming role in Season Five of Smallville.

"It's so cool. I mean, I'm very excited about Smallville," Marsters said to E!'s Kristin Veitch. "God, I had the best dinner with [executive producer] Al Gough, and granted, he was trying to seduce me into signing a contract with him, but I was struck with how normal he was, how down-to-earth and how much we talked about our families, and then about art. He was interesting on a number of subjects, and I think he's got a good mind. I like his brain with the Superman mythology. You know, [Smallville] is a coming-of-age drama again, like Buffy, and those are fabulous, because we're all coming of age constantly. I'm always trying to grow up, so you know, that story never gets old for anybody. 'Become yourself.' When are you not gonna need to hear that? And so, I love that."

Marsters revealed when his first episode will air, and what kind of accent he will be sporting this time around.

Photo credit: Darren SwimmerKryptonSite Interview: Jeph Loeb Talks About His Smallville Departure
He's long been associated with Superman through his comic book work, and joined the Smallville team at the beginning of Season 2. He also scored very highly on KryptonSite fan polls for his work on such favorite episodes as "Red," "Insurgence," "Legacy," and "Unsafe." Those who read his comics often keep Supergirl and Superman/Batman near the top of their "must read" pile. And soon, you'll be seeing him over at Marvel Comics and writing a movie based on Will Eisner's The Spirit.

Jeph Loeb is a man of many talents, and has long been a supporter and friend to this site and to Smallville. Loeb has moved on from his post as a Supervising Producer on the show, but he was kind enough to take the time to do an interview with KryptonSite about his departure and reflect on his time with the series.
